We’ve received a lot of messages over the last couple of weeks asking about the future of the UK Owl and Raptor Centre following sale of Groombridge Place, the estate on which we’re based.
On the 16th April, THE PIG, a popular hotel group, publicly announced that they have purchased the Groombridge Place Estate. The estate will remain closed to the general public whilst renovation works take place, which we know will be sad to many, but the estate needs so much work to restore it to its former glory - something that THE PIG is able to do and is something which we welcome! As it stands after meetings with the new owners, it is very much “business as usual” for us and we will still be offering our popular experience days (which has recently hit 100 5* reviews on Tripadvisor) for the foreseeable and we hope to be able to welcome you all over the coming months as we move into the warmer weather!
